The Wing Hangar is an original 1944 Grade II listed building. It has been adapted for wheelchair access in all ground floor areas.
The one exception is the control room on the upper floor, which is only reachable by stairs. We can offer disabled visitors a video presentation of the control room instead, by prior arrangement.
The Wing Hangar is quite a small building, so some areas have to do more than one job. Depending on the size of the groups visiting that day, we may not be able to set up the video presentation at short notice. Please mention it when you book and we’ll have it ready.
